| SM immersion episode one
My classmates and I were sent to SM Megamall today for our school immersion. They call it ‘school immersion’ just to make it sound good but actually, we worked as baggers. It was a very tiring job! My shift was from 12:30 to 7:30 pm. We had a 45 minute break from 3 pm until 3:45. I will never forget this day! First, Carlos, Earl and I arrived in SM at around 11:30, so we had time to walk around. We went to this spoof shirt store in the basement I think or in the first floor because we were looking for a gift for Carlos’ younger brother. So we looked around to see if we can get something when all of a sudden… A man in shiny rubber shoes (the one like being sold in greenhills with a big tongue! We used to wear one of those when we were like 10 years old.) and shorts and polo, appeared right in front of us, and asked with a scary voice “Where do you study?”. We were stunned! Neither Carlos nor Earl answered so being the tactless and talkative person that I am, I answered him with “Uhmm… Why are you asking?” He said “nothing…” and rubbed in the question again. And again, being the thick faced person that I am, I answered him with the same answer that I said before. Carlos probably thought that the conversation will go nowhere so he said that we study in Xavier School. Then the crazy dude in shinny rubber shoes started talking about himself being a Born Again Christian and a tourist from Australia. Hello?! He looks like a Filipino… Well, he is Filipino because he spoke in Tagalog and even if he really is an Australian dude, he wouldn’t pass for a tourist because of his shinny rubber shoes. Haha! Really intriguing rubber shoes! Haha! Anyway, the fun and adventure didn’t end there, on our way up, Earl and I saw a ‘Kano’ talking to himself in the escalator! Hahaha! Really weird and fuuny! It’s not all about fun though, I got really tired today because of bagging, standing up the whole time and smiling to people. Good thing my jaw didn’t hurt. Haha! Another thing that I am happy about is this super conyo friend of mine which name I will not mention because the words in this page might all turn to tagalog. Haha! Anyway, she visited me with her mom (haha! Momy’s one and only!) and she actually hanged out for about five to ten minutes with a bagger (which is me). (very unconyotic act for a conyotic girl) But I really appreciate people visiting me in the supermarket. It makes me feel loved. (okay, I’m getting mushy…) True friends are really true if they accept you for what or who you really are and I think having a friend that is an employee of SM or bagger is really something. Gets? C’mon! Do you have a friend that’s working for SM as a bagger? I admire those people who have. You know those good weather friends who are just with you when you are dressed nice and going to Rockwell to watch a moive? (Tamaan ka Karl Chua! Bwahahaha!) So if people visit me, I get touched… I don’t know, I am not a real bagger though, maybe because they are seeing me at the extremes like bagging and sweating and all stressed out and all… and yet they were there. Hay… Paggabi talaga, kung anu-ano ang naiisip ko. Anyway, I’m looking forward in tomorrow’s immersion and speaking of tomorrow’s immersion, I will go overtime (shucks! That means extra 3 hours of bagging…) tomorrow so I can go home early on Saturday to give way for Gela’s cotillion practice! I’m sure it will be worth it! I am excited to dance! Hahaha! It’s my first time to dance in a debut. Good night everyone.

| school tomorrow!
Today is generally a happy day! I watched two dvd's (dibedee! dibidee!) 'The Last Samurai' -the japanese girl there was very beautiful. The other one is 'i Robot' it's an action moive, I haven't watched an action movie since Troy. Anyway, my chicken pox is almost, about 95% cured. I feel so lucky because other people have had it for a week or two, mine lasted for only four days! haha! Anyway, I was able to talk to a friend that I missed a lot since we don't go out often anymore, it felt great talking and laughing with her again. I'm happy about that. Nevertheless, nothing is perfect, the bad news is, I think I failed DLSU. My name is not in their website and it makes me want to cry... If I can't get it in DLSU, what more in Ateneo? Hay... Anyway, it's just up to Jess whether I will go to a good school or not. Right now I'm more concerned about my Math grades, I should get I high grade in Math this quarter in order to graduate or else, I wouldn't march!!! That would be the saddest thing that can happen to me as a high school student.
HAy.. School is back again and it sucks whenever I have to wake up at 4:30 in the morning. (my school is far from my house) What's nice about it is when I think about graduating and moving away from Xavier, meeting new kinds of people in college, eating fishballs in UP or hangin out in one of those restaurants in Katipunan... Hay... Wouldn't that be something to look forward to? Life.. Oh... Life... GrRrRrRrRrRrRrRrRrR!! ! I still can't accept that I failed in DLSU! Am I that dumb? Well... Who likes to go to DLSU anyway? I'd rather have Chris Tiu as my schoolmate than Joseph Yeo! TO HELL WITH DLSU! Ateneo is always better! But what if I don't get in Ateneo? What will happen to me??? WAaaaAAAAaAAAA! I don't wanna think about it anymore.
Anyway, I have this friend named Denise from Poveda, it's soo0o0o0o0 amazing because we have the same birthday. I'm one year older though, but still! It's AmAzInG!!! Haha!

| love? sure?...
I've heard a lot of good love stories from my friends in school and my friends here in the village. Some of them stay together for a long time, like a year or two and still going strong until now and for some, just four to six months. Anyway, the more interesting part of the relationship is the courting stage. This is where all the first kilig moments happen. That feeling when your stomach is about to turn around when you see her/him. Right? Agree? The funny this is, when we guys court girls, it's too easy for us to say 'i love you' even though we only got to know the girl for like a week or a month ago. C'mon, you really believe it's true? Guys may be sincere in telling you these words but how can they/we love strangers? or newly acquired friends. Guys may be open and willing to love the girl but at that point, I don't think they love the girl already. The real love comes in somewhere in the middle of the relationship. Maybe the 4th or 5th month. Or in some cases when the couple doesn't want to step down from cloud nine, it would take a longer time beacuse they are driven greatly by emotions. When both are already comfortable with each other, the feeling of excitement is lessened. The girl/guy will be part of the daily routine already thus giving them the feeling of familiarity and comfort. This is one of the reasons why people break up at the 5th or 6th month. They will get used to each other and they will just say "wala ng spark eh...." or "iba na eh.. hindi na katulad nung dati..." Of course! It won't be like before like the courting period or the first few months. This is where love comes clearly in the picture. See, there was no love at the courting stage and at the few months of the relationship. It was all pure emotions driving poeple to do stuff. It was emotions that made the guy/girl say 'I love you'. Loves comes when the guy/girl sacrifices for one the other. Love is when the guy/girl decides to adjust and compromise. Slowly, love develops from here. Encountering problems together, not giving up and solving it together. Love is when you decide to continue even though it's hard. In short, love is doing! Love is when you wake up an extra hour early for her. Love is when you decide not to call her during exam week because you understand that she needs to study and you will just distract her. Love is when you understand and respect each others' opinions. Love doesn't mean you have to call or text her 24/7. Love is when you do not talk to each other for a long period of time because it's 'hell week' in school yet, you trusted. Love is when you talk and socialize with friends of the other sex and not fight about it because you know in your hearts that you love and trust each other. Love has many definitions. A simple 'i love you' could mean 'I am willing to love you but I don't love you yet'. Or 'I love you' can mean 'I'm so infatuated with you'. Although it can mean a lot of things, one thing is for sure, love is definitely not blind, love can see deep into the hearts of people.
| Talagang Masaya ang New Year!!!
Jan 3, 12:22 am
Memorable sobra ang new na to para sa akin. Haha! ito na ang pinakamasaya!!! As in sobrang saya! Ginamit nya yung tune ng 'Can't Lose You' ng F4. haha! yung chorus sobrang panalo! haha! 'OH BABY BABY... LABS KITANG TALAGA...' Haha!
May nagsabi sakin na malas daw talaga rabbit sa year of the rooster.
Haha! Nagpanic na ako! Total break out talaga! umalis ako ng bahay, walang pimple, pagbalik ko, isang tambak! Hay! to make the long story short, masaya ako dahil hindi naman pala pimples yun sabi nung doctor, CHICKEN POX lang naman daw... at mga 1 week or 2 weeks akong mag-aabsent! BAD TRIP!!!! PANO NA YUNG MAKE UP TEST KO SA MATH! BWISIT TALGA ANG PASOK NG TAON NA ITO! Hay... right now, nangangati ako... sa face... nakakainis! Hay... Sa mga year of the rabbit, learn to accept na lang... hindi talaga siguro natin year ngayon... Make your own swerte dba..
| Starstruck day!
Featured friend for today: Carlos and Joseph
Hi everyone! This is my first entry here in Xanga! Haha! I have nothing to do here at home so I decided to make one, it's really boring here.. Anyway, yesterday, I went to Power Plant with Carlos Locsin, one of my closest friends. We watched 'Sigaw' starring Angel Locsin and Richard Gutierrez Big Ears. Haha! His big ears are really funny! Haha! Nevertheless, the movie was really good. The story is really scary plus, the cinematography and setting was also nice. Though the make up committe didn't do a good job, the overall movie was good. We watched with Carlos' friends from St. Scolastica. Carlos asked me to go with him because it will be his first time to go out with girls with that kind of setting. He gave Joana the prom pics from last year's prom. Super late dba? Haha! The day went well, I was really happy because it was my first time to watch a movie again since Feng Shui. After watching, we left Power Plant and went home. Carlos dropped me in Joseph's house near his condo. It's always nice to see a good old friend like Joseph. I've always missed him since he left Xavier. We chilled in his room for awhile, ate dinner and went to greenhills at around 12:30am. On our way to Gerry's Grill on the second floor, I saw Lorna Tolentino! Haha! The old lady in Many Po 2, I think. After that I also saw Mayor JV Ejercito Estrada in Congo Grill. His Range Rover is really nice and elegant. We had beer and some pika pika upstairs in Gerry's, after an hour of eating and drinking Joseph saw another showbiz personality. We saw Wesley Gonzales and his girlfriend. Whoa! This day is just full of celebrity people. The night didn't end there, Gerry's closed at 1:30 so we decided to go to Tomas Morato. This is the funny part. Joseph, Francis (another friend who drives for us) and I were all wearing slippers/sandals. First, we went to Static (a bar in that building near Ratsky). I went in first and asked the guy near the door, "boss, ano yung dress code niyo?" (take note, we are all wearing slippers/sandals and Joseph is wearing shorts with white polo). The guy answered "Yan! Yang chinelas mo ang dress code namin!" Hahahaha! Pahiya kaming tatlo! So we just left. This time Francis said, let's try in Pier One so again, we are faced with another dress code problem. Joseph was really discouraged and he said that we won't be allowed to go in because he is wearing shorts. Nevertheless, we still continued. I was the first one to ask again, "boss, ok lang ba yung shorts?" The guy answered with an annoying voice, "Ok lang yan, ang problema, ilang taon ka na ba?" I said, "18 po...". With great poise, the guy replied, "Patingin ng ID." (dark clouds, thunder, lightning). Since I am not yet 18, I told him that I forgot my ID at home. Sadly, for the second time, we got regected. Hopeless, we went to a coffee shop called Baang in the same area. We had coffe and shared some stories about our love lives. It was already 3am so we decided to just go back to Joseph's town house. We were not yet sleppy because of the coffee so Joseph got his dad's Russian Vodka in the ref and we feasted on it. It was my first time to drink Vodka. At first it felt very hot in the esophagus but after a couple of shots, it felt good already. The feeling of the heat rushing in my throat and lungs was great. Haha! We didn't finish the Vodka though, because Joseph's dad might notice that we drank so we went to a gasoline station near by to get some more beer and chips. We were getting tipsy and all already but it was fun! We were just laughing in the gasoline station. Joseph looked really funny.. Haha! He was red and drunk already. We got back in Joseph's house at 4:30 and slept at 5 in the morning. The day was really fun and funny at the same time. After getting rejected by to bars, what more could we ask?! Hahahaha!
